Saudi property sale context: Qatar sales fall 65% to 540.5m riyals.
Saudi property sale readers get a Qatar weekly print: REGA data for 1 to 7 November 2026 put 142 sale contracts at 540.5 million riyals, down 65 per cent on the week but up 51.6 per cent on the year.

Argaam carried in Arabic on 8 November 2026 Qatar Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) weekly market indicators covering 1 to 7 November. Total sale-contract value was 540.5 million riyals, down 65 per cent week on week and up 51.6 per cent year on year, across 142 contracts, up 23.5 per cent on the week and down 10.7 per cent on the year.
By asset type, vacant land led at 308.5 million riyals (57.1 per cent of sale value), followed by villas at 143.2 million (26.5 per cent), apartments at 65.9 million (12.2 per cent) and other types at 22.9 million (4.2 per cent). Umm Salal municipality topped trading at 146.4 million riyals (35 per cent), then Doha at 143 million (34.2 per cent) and Al Daayen at 128.3 million (30.7 per cent).
Mortgage contracts numbered 35 for 405 million riyals, with value up 67.9 per cent on the week and 11.6 per cent on the year. Lease contracts totalled 818 for 7.42 million riyals, with lease value down 10.4 per cent week on week and 38.5 per cent year on year. The report did not break out foreign-buyer shares or Saudi cross-border flows.

Omnia Desk
A Qatar weekly tape is not a Saudi freehold price signal.
The Argaam read is Qatar’s own weekly sale, mortgage and lease tape. It does not reset freehold maps, ownership rules or the price bands on homes Omnia lists in Saudi Arabia. A foreign buyer weighing Riyadh, Jeddah or Madinah still checks Saudi title rules and published asking prices, not Doha municipality rankings.
Vacant land took more than half of that week’s Qatar sale value. That mix is a local liquidity snapshot. It does not change escrow terms on off-plan stock we sell under Wafi. Completed bands such as Al Majdiah 163 and off-plan starts on schemes like Al Mashriqya 2 stay on their own Saudi paperwork and price checks.
If you already own or are comparing Saudi stock, treat this print as regional noise unless your brief is explicitly Qatar. The buyer work remains the Saudi freehold map, fee clearance on bare plots, and the listed starting prices on each scheme.
