What we publish
Omnia Markets follows the Gulf's property markets as they move, led by Oman and Saudi Arabia: ownership and residency rules, launches and handovers, prices and transactions, finance and the infrastructure that changes a location. Each story pairs the news with Omnia's analysis, and running stories are kept together so a reader can follow them from the start.
Our sources
We report from the official bodies first: the statistics offices, the property regulators and registries, the ministries and the national news agencies. We read the regional press in English and Arabic alongside them. Every story names its sources and links to them, and reporting first published in Arabic is marked as such.
Accuracy
Every figure we publish is checked against the source it comes from before the story goes live. Official data is published as released, with the period it covers and the body that issued it.
Our analysis
Under each story, “Our take” sets out what it means for someone buying or holding property in that market. It is the view of Omnia Capital Group, the publisher of Omnia Markets, and it is always labelled and kept apart from the reporting.
Data
When the statistics offices and regulators release new property figures, we report them with the series behind them. Each month we add our own reading of the market across the developments we list. Every chart carries its source and may be cited with a link to the story.
