Saudi refinance firm buys third home-loan portfolio from Banque Saudi Fransi.
The Public Investment Fund unit signed another residential mortgage-book purchase with the bank, Argaam reported in Arabic.

Argaam reported in Arabic that the Saudi Real Estate Refinance Company had signed an agreement to buy a residential mortgage portfolio from Banque Saudi Fransi. The deal is the third portfolio purchase between the two sides, Argaam said, citing the Saudi Press Agency.
The company, a Public Investment Fund entity licensed by the Saudi Central Bank since its founding, said the agreement extends cooperation in the residential mortgage market. According to the report, the aim is to supply liquidity to lenders, support continued home-finance products, grow the secondary mortgage market and widen housing-finance options in line with the Housing Program and Vision 2030.
Chief executive Majeed Al-Abduljabbar said ongoing work with finance providers helps them expand residential mortgage lending and raises market efficiency and sustainability through refinance solutions. The size of this third portfolio and the purchase price were not stated in the report.

Omnia Desk
More lender liquidity, same foreign buyer rules and price bands.
A third SRC purchase from Banque Saudi Fransi is a secondary-market funding step for Saudi home loans, not a change in who may own what. It does not rewrite freehold limits, residency routes or the escrow rules that already govern off-plan stock. For an international buyer the practical check is still the same: title path, Wafi escrow on stage payments, and the exit cost already fixed under the disposal rules.
Our catalogue still lists 40 developments in this market, with 13 sold off-plan under Wafi escrow from SAR 266,799 and five completed homes from SAR 579,000. Schemes such as Makanah by Al Majdiah and Al Majdiah 174 sit in that off-plan band; nothing in this refinance deal alters their published starting prices or payment structure. Use our guide to residency through property in Saudi Arabia for the ownership-to-residency route; treat SRC portfolio sales as lender plumbing, not a signal that foreign purchase terms have moved.
