Who we are

Omnia Capital Group ("we", "us", "our") is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We are Omnia Capital Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16480721, registered office at 123 Deansgate, Manchester, England, M3 2BY.

You can reach our data protection contact at info@omniacapitalgroup.com. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use omniacapitalgroup.com, enquire with us, hold an account, download our research, or apply for a role. It works alongside our Cookie Policy.

The personal data we collect

We collect only the data we need for the purposes set out below. Depending on how you use the site, this may include:

Enquiry and lead data
When you submit an enquiry, request a brochure or particulars, ask for an allocation, or speak with an adviser, we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the country code you select, and the details you choose to share, such as the market or property of interest, your budget, timeframe, residency and the goal of your investment. When you enquire we also set a first-party identifier (omnia_vid) so we can connect your enquiry to the activity that led to it and to your record in our systems. This identifier is set when you enquire even if you have not turned on analytics cookies; see our Cookie Policy.
Account data
If you create an account, we hold your email address, your saved properties (watchlist), and the technical session needed to keep you signed in. We use a passwordless, link-based sign-in, so we do not store a password.
Research and download data
When you request a gated report or guide, we record the request so we can deliver the document and, where you consent, send you related research.
Careers data
If you apply for a role, we collect the details in your application and your CV or supporting documents.
Usage and device data
With your consent to analytics, we collect information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the first-party identifier (omnia_vid) described in our Cookie Policy.
Marketing data
Your preferences for receiving marketing from us, and where a campaign or referral source brought you to the site.

We do not ask you to provide special category data (such as health, or racial or ethnic origin). Please do not send us special category data in free-text fields. We do not knowingly collect data from children; this site is intended for adults.

How we collect your data

  • Directly from you, when you complete a form, create an account, request a document, apply for a role, or contact us.
  • Automatically, through cookies and similar technologies, but only within the categories you have consented to.
  • From third parties in limited cases. Where a referral partner introduces you, we typically receive your name and contact details and the nature of your interest; where we follow up from a public source, we use only the contact details you have made available for that purpose. We will tell you the source if you ask.

How we use your data and our lawful bases

Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for using your personal data. The table below sets out what we do and the basis we rely on.

Purposes and lawful bases

Manage recruitment and assess your application.Steps taken at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in building a suitable team.
Keep records, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. Our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and misuse of our services and protecting our business and other users, and compliance with a legal obligation.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered the impact on you and do not use your data in ways you would not reasonably expect. You can ask us about this balancing assessment at any time.

Marketing and your choices

We send marketing only where you have asked us to, or where the law otherwise allows it. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by contacting us at info@omniacapitalgroup.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop service messages about an enquiry or account you hold with us.

You control analytics and advertising cookies through the Manage cookies control. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed for the purposes above, with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract, including our cloud hosting, email delivery, and customer-relationship-management providers. They act only on our instructions.
  • Analytics providers, where you have consented, including Google Analytics and PostHog.
  • Advertising and measurement providers, where you have consented to marketing, including Google Ads and Meta (the Facebook Pixel and Conversions API). Google receives consented tag, device and advertising-click information needed to measure a conversion. Meta server-side measurement may receive a hashed email address, IP address, browser user agent and Meta browser/click identifiers. We never send either provider your plain email address.
  • Professional advisers, and developers or partners relevant to a specific enquiry, where you have asked us to progress it.
  • Authorities or other parties where we are required to by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

A current list of our named sub-processors is available on request from info@omniacapitalgroup.com.

International transfers

We operate across our markets, including the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Montenegro, and some of our service providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. This means your personal data may be transferred to, and processed in, countries whose data protection laws differ from the UK.

The safeguard we use depends on the destination. For transfers to countries the UK has found to provide an adequate level of protection, we rely on those adequacy regulations; for other countries we put in place the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, with additional safeguards where a transfer risk assessment shows they are needed. You can ask us for a copy of the relevant safeguard by contacting info@omniacapitalgroup.com.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out in this policy, then delete or anonymise it. The right period depends on the type of data and our legal obligations:

  • Enquiry and lead data: while we are in active contact with you and for up to six years after our last contact, so we can follow up and meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
  • Account data: while your account is active, and for up to twelve months after it is closed.
  • Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, after which we keep a minimal suppression record so we continue to honour your choice.
  • Careers data: for the recruitment process and, where you agree, for up to twelve months afterwards in case a suitable role arises.
  • Records we must keep by law: for the period the relevant law requires.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the following rights, which you can exercise free of charge (we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse only where a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, for example repetitive):

Access
To ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification
To have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed.
Erasure
To ask us to delete your data where there is no good reason for us to keep it.
Restriction
To ask us to pause our use of your data in certain circumstances.
Portability
To receive certain data in a portable format, or have it sent to another controller, where we process it by consent or contract and by automated means.
Objection
To object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to object to direct marketing at any time, which we will always honour.
Withdraw consent
To withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it, without affecting processing carried out before you withdrew it.

We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you using solely automated means. To exercise any right, contact us at info@omniacapitalgroup.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within one month, or tell you if we need longer for a complex request. If you want to raise a concern rather than exercise a right, see our Complaints procedure.

How we protect your data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls, encryption in transit, and limiting who can see personal data to those who need it. Forms that handle personal data are rate-limited to reduce abuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously and review our measures regularly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a significant change we will revise the date below and, where appropriate, tell you. Please check back so you are aware of how we handle your data.

Complaints and how to contact us

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, although we would welcome the chance to help before you do. For other complaints, see our Complaints procedure.
