Buying from abroad

When you want to see it yourself.

Some buyers want to stand in the room before they commit. We plan the trip around a shortlist, so every visit counts.

The short answer

How does a property viewing trip work?

We shortlist homes with you first, usually after video viewings, then plan a visit of two to four days around them: the homes, the developers, the neighbourhoods at different times of day, and meetings with a lawyer if you want to move quickly.

Planning the trip

Built around your shortlist.

  1. Shortlist first

Video viewings narrow the field, so the trip is spent on the homes worth seeing.

  2. A day-by-day plan

Viewings, developer meetings and time in each neighbourhood, timed for traffic and the light.

  3. On the ground

An advisor with you throughout, and a lawyer available if you decide to reserve.

Questions

What buyers ask us.

How long should a viewing trip be?

Two to four days is usually enough for a focused shortlist in one city. We suggest the shape once we know the homes and your time.

Planning a viewing trip?

Tell us when you could travel, and we will build the shortlist first.
